Scheduling fieldwork around a coastal prefecture’s busy season
How we sequence inventory observation, bank confirmations, and management interviews when operations peak in late summer.
Many of our clients along the Japan Sea coast run peak production or tourism-related sales in late summer. Asking the warehouse manager for a full-day inventory observation in August can collide with shipping deadlines.
We plan inventory observation for a quieter week when possible, or for a second count closer to year-end if the client’s fiscal calendar allows. Bank confirmations go out early so replies arrive before management interviews.
Management interviews themselves work best mid-morning, after the day’s production briefing. Afternoon slots often get cancelled when a large order lands.
Tell us about seasonal peaks when you request an engagement estimate. A realistic calendar is part of the fee conversation, not an afterthought once the team is booked.
